Collision with a deer
It's always important to be careful when driving along country roads, since you
may well spot a deer crossing the road. While the risk is there year round,
it's in the summer and fall that one tends to see these wild animals on roads.
Who pays for the damage to your vehicle if you do hit a deer? The answer: your
insurer, provided you are covered for this type of damage (Section B of your
policy).

Transport Québec site (in French only).

Insure your watercraft
You've bought a watercraft so that you can fully enjoy the summer. While it is
covered under your home insurance policy, you should know that your policy
limit is $500 to $1,000 for any damages you may incur. What's more, not all
watercraft are covered under civil liability. We strongly suggest that you take
out specific coverage for your new watercraft.

categories of property covered under your home insurance policy.

Being ready for an emergency
Natural disasters happen no matter the season. Summer, for example, brings
violent storms and torrential rains that can cause extended blackouts and even
force you out of your home. We strongly recommend you have an emergency plan so
that you're ready for such an event. It's also important that you have an
emergency kit, which should contain enough supplies to help you be
self-sufficient for at least 72 hours.
Click here for a list of supplies your kit should contain and for
advice on how to adequately prepare to face an emergency.
